Wow, great timing. I recently started Devil Survivor Overclocked. Absolutely love the story's pacing, characters, and scenario. Based on what I've played, let's go with a 9/10. If I change my mind upon completing it, I'll revise my score.

Devil Survivor is fun as hell btw. If you're a SMT/Persona fan who hasn't played it, you need to.

Devil Survivor 2 would probably get the exact same score from me. I think DS1's is probably a bit better, but I played 2 first, and going from 2 to 1 really undermines the stakes that are present in 1.

The story itself is fine but I really like the atmosphere of impending doom and oppressiveness that pervade.

I think I ended up with only two options (neither of which were ones I was trying for) and Yuzu felt like the better one.

Atmosphere is aces. I do think my score would be lower if I didn't go for the Bel ending though.

Great story overall, great atmosphere and it does a really good job of actually giving you reason to get invested in the various endings, a nice departure from the usual SMT thing where you often either don't really find out what you're doing until you commit to it or you just get told up front "hey this is the option to make the world suck, so is this, pick which flavour of awful you like yay".

I agree with the 9/10 vibe, let's go with that
