As for me not remembering the Ulti thing, it's called a "brain fart." A "rookie mistake." I'm not used to having to remember everything like this. So it's a "lesson learned" and I'll be taking actual notes after this. I guess that's not too dissimilar to confessionals in a Survivor game. But right now, I'm learning what I need to do. What I need to look for. How to think of all this.

You can't expect me to be thrown into my first Mafia game in forever - and one of very few - and expect me to be as good as any of you. SBell is right. I am green town. VERY green town. And that makes me bad at it. Give me time.

DYL was not the only person to agree that Lea's reasons for claiming early make total sense. Hell, even I said the same thing!

Plum pushed for a BCT lynch over Red and Kirby, which is big town points to BCT. Plum does not like to bus unless it actually help his team win. DYL pointed this out, too, so there was some day one bussing of Plum going on.

I'll concede this is an interesting point. As are the votal patterns you pointed out regarding Sheep. Hmm...

I was scared that I was scanned for being suspected, and that I misunderstood the intent. I stopped being concerned once that was brought up.

Again, I was just scared that I was being suspected. After what happened four years ago, can you blame me?

Like I didn't know what to make of all this. Day 1 for your first game in forever - as someone who hasn't played much - is overwhelming and anxiety-ridden.

I was also quite busy helping my parents so I wasn't thinking fully straight.

Which was my mistake. I misconstrued the reason for being the target of a scan based and got paranoid that it could lead to other things in the coming days, especially if I wasn't the one scanned.

Again, I am learning as we go here. Because it's been a while. I may or may not play FFD Mafia. I may end up being the "I'll play every other game" kind of guy.

And don't worry, you're not pushing my buttons the way Corrik did, so no hard feelings! And I don't really think you're scum like I was sure he was.

You bring up some excellent points, Ulti. I'd like to hear Sheep's defense.

That being said, I don't see 4 scum in a setup with a Doctor and back-up that can replace the Doctor. I'm fairly sure there's two remaining scum, though I'm not scared of a mislynch since we've narrowed down the pool so much that there's a decent chance of hitting at least one scum.

Hmm... that's a good point. If there were five scum, they would've hammered BCT by now if he was town. Which seems to suggest that either:

• BCT is scum
• There's only one remaining scum
• The scum team is wildly incompetent.

First of all, SBell, what the fuck was that Lea vote? I think it rules out a BCT/Kirby pairing or at least makes it considerably less likely given the length of time it was up but holy shit as I was catching up I was increasingly concerned that we might have just straight up lost while I was away.

I'm willing to take the chance that there's just one scum or BCT is one of them, because sod off am I getting lynched if we're one scum away from winning, just for Plum voting me D1 or some shite. There's not many two-person teams that I think can exist without BCT, and all the other one-person teams seem very unlikely.

Ulti, I don't know what explanation I can give for such wooly arguments. I really don't see how they're meant to be compelling at all, honestly? Can you expand on... literally any of your case on me? Because right now I'm just seeing a narrative that isn't really backed up by anything beyond me having good reads, and the conclusions feel like massive leaps (I do not think that Death calling someone Town is the compelling argument you seem to think it is, especially when you use Death calling me Town as a jumping off point to call me Scum). This is the second time you have followed this pattern today after doing something similar with Lea.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm a decent enough player (at least when I'm not scum) and I think my reads this game are decent enough on reflection, but I don't see how they're brilliant enough to be some scum mastermind bussing everyone. Like, I don't think my D2 scumlist of Red/SBell/Death/DYL/Plum was exactly controversial. I assume this argument is mostly coming from my D1 votes? Because I randomly voted DYL when Plum was nailed in to try and prod an inactive who already had some pressure, and Plum was obvious pretty much the second Han went after him. It wasn't exactly some massive leap to make myself look better. I literally fuckin led a lynch on Tidus rather than lynching Death when he was confirmed scum. Saying my reads are too good to the point where I must have been bussing when they've been mostly middling is laughable.

I'm still of the mind that town untargetable us unbalanced

You forgot:

• Kirby and/or Lea are scum

The fact that you shielded yourself and Lea here for already having votes on me is highly indicative of your alignment. Like... seriously?

And by "alignment" I mean that it's painfully obvious that you don't want anyone thinking that you and Lea are the last two scum.

Which is still entirely possible now that I've seen more evidence of it.
