So the additional story dlc they're doing at the end of the season pass is absolutely, 100% going to be about the Founders of the City, right? Way too much tantalizing stuff going on in there especially between Clone Shulk and (early ch. 6 theory of mine) if alt. Mio and Noah's kid turns out to be the founder of House Vandham.

One would think, but Takahashi said playing the DLC will tell us what Xenoblade 4 will be about, so wouldn't it make more sense for the DLC to take place after this game ends?

Clone Fei is more interesting than Clone Shulk anyway.

I thought I had seen that going around and as such posed my statement in the form of a question.

But if you're gonna be an ass about it.

Not end of XB but end of Klaus Saga... which I wouldn't even consider XB3 to be anyways unless upcoming DLC changes that, and I frankly wouldn't want it to because that side of the plot is just garbage here so kinda just gotta let it go.

trying to kill Ravenous Babayaga but like 3 times now he's moving around/getting knocked too far the battle resets

ended up beating it by just AFKing and letting my party members knock it wherever they like while I stay still doing nothing

I did that again for another sea UM (Seadragon Melchior) and geeeez after it died I was swimming kilometers to catch-up to where they eventually killed it, to pick up the drops

but yeah this is essentially an in-game compendium of unique enemies to kill (which I was already doing in every xenoblade game anyway trying to kill them all)

the final UM sure is a breeze after spending a half-hour on the pair in the anti-interlink cave... who over course require 2 more beatings to master their souls -_-

Haven't been playing quite as much the past few days, but I've now gotten all of the heroes visible on the menu and unlocked them for everybody. Doing that for the last three required some CP grinding on Daedal Island, which I had largely avoided up to this point. Seraph is a fun class, and I definitely appreciate Troubador giving me access to burst for extra drops. Not a big fan of Machine Assassin though given how bad debuffs seem to be in this game. I still have a bunch of Ch. 6 sidequests left to do, though.

Just fired up X again and man does the Wii U chug trying to play that disk.

The one thing I absolutely love about the opening of this game is how overwhelming it feels immediately.

Oh man this soulhacker class is a lot

it's so overpowered though with the right setup just busting out 6 digit damage in regular combos who needs chain attacks

anyway spent my day refighting every unique monster I've fought so far in this game and hacked all their souls

back to the regular game next time I play

Soulhacker isn't quite as powerful as Incursor, though it's close.

Was busy for most of the past week and didn't play much, but I just got around to finishing Chapter 5 and starting Chapter 6. That was a lot. The prison and Shania stuff didn't do much for me, but I more or less enjoyed the start of 6 stuff.

oh shit I thought last week was the last wave of XB3 icons but up comes Wave 5

I don't think anything about Nintendo's online has annoyed me more than one two punch for these icons of "you can only buy these pieces from the system and not online" and "you have to buy all of these items one at a time".

And that's combined with how both this for some reason independent system app and the eShop both run like total booty and have like a 3 to 5 second input delay.

A little disappointed the map of the Crater or whatever they called the ex-City remains auto-filled as soon as I got to it. Presumably that just means there aren't any locations/landmarks inside it, and I've found every other spot to see in Swordmarch, but still. Seems like they could've put a secret area or something on the far side so that wouldn't happen. Was also kind of expecting to explore more of Agnus Castle after liberating it.

I'm also wondering at this point if liberating Keves Castle will be main story or side quest. I guess I could see it happening in an Ascension Quest maybe, if there's not gonna be a Hero associated with it.

Anyway, SIDE QUESTS.

Can you actually get that outfit back?

Now that I've looked into it I see that dataminers figured out why Loloka's collectopaedia card currently can't be completed because of the missing Gogol Vuaga

in this game some collectibles can only be obtained via enemies performing special actions and one is the Gogol type enemies eating fruits and throwing them for you to collect

there's 6 different types of gogols and each one is supposed to throw a different fruit

but 2 gogols have the same fruit linked to them and the one everyone's missing isn't linked to any enemy

so it needs to be patched to get it

spent most of my day just doing the new side quests and ascension quests that open up in Chapter 6

just about done with those though so next time the story

Xenoblade 3, Dunkey, and JRPG were trending high today after that video came out.

You can't fool me though Dunkey, some of those cutscenes were from the last 20% of the game, you actually liked it this time!

I guess you can technically say it's not precisely confirmed, you only get a picture of them. But it's hard to imagine a different conclusion to Rex in the middle standing behind each of them, arms on Mythra & Nia's shoulders with Pyra in the middle, each with their newborn child.

The best part is that last detail.... each with their newborn child.... so all impregnated in the same timeframe
