Wrapping up last few sidequests and ascension quests in chapter 7 and getting every colony to 5-stars

I've hacked the souls of every unique possible so far just leaving 2 or 3 I can't get to yet + all the ones in the final area.

After that it's just finishing the story and taking on the superbosses

How can one game have this many sidequests

The funny thing is that since they turned all of the fetch quests into collect cards this game has way less side quests than XB1 or XB2

Yes but these are real side quests

Man this game is so good

All Ascension quests and current sidequests available to me completed

Still need to get Agnes Castle, Keves Castle and Nopon Colonies to 5-star, but I understand you actually can't until the post-game unless you spam collectopaedia cards

So I guess I'll continue the story next time I play

After 148 hours. What an incredible game. Done every side quests and hero quests possible. Just need to do the post-game stuff now.

finally a use for all these odd shards I've been picking up all game

At this point we do so much damage even on level 90+ uniques that having any tank is kinda pointless because they can never draw enough aggro. I've been find it better to go with 2-3 attackers and 4-5 healers and just dunk on every fight.

Helps that with a Rank 20 Flash Fencer the Capable Hands Master Skill lets your Talent Art be 100% charged at the start of battle so you can use Lucky Seven right at the beginning of a fight (and if you want to take it step further beyond that also use Signifiers also with Capable Hands and as well as Glittering Melody (from a Rank 20 Troubadour) and Noah with Resonant Flag as one of his Master Arts to spread the invincibility buff to the entire party and then playing as a Signifier the rest of the fight to just constantly keep the buff up the entire fight)

Did you get all soul hacker skills upgraded? I'm not sure how long it'll take to go through and fight every unique monster multiple times but I'm not looking forward to it

not yet. I just finished taking on all the superbosses, but I still have all the ones in the final area to kill to have 100% souls hacked.

The max damage came from the end of a chain attack on a launched enemy and beyond the damage multiplier I'm sure there was a power charge and various buffs and debuffs in play, but I hit it with a Wild Wave chained with a Sumo Press which will Smash the launched enemy and it popped that 9,999,999

You can keep going after the last boss, so I'm not quite sure why he says that haha.

I guess it's because the last boss is super annoying to re-fight, so you should really be prepared...

Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade 2 do the same thing. In Xenoblade 1, saving is disabled until you beat the game. Xenoblade 2 and Xenoblade 3 don't even give opportunities to save and is just cutscenes and battles to the end.

We just got a software update which supposedly fixes the Gogol Vuaga and useless cooking issues

does it fix the glitch where a couple of chapter 7 collectopedia requests don't seem to register as fully complete so you're cursed with an eternal notification symbol that you can fulfill the request so long as you have the items regardless of how many times you do so?

I say fully because the first time reward is given and the rewards drop accordingly like all other repeats but they stay at the top if you have the list sorted for first time requests and so the "new card can be completed" symbol will always be up provided you have the items to keep fulfilling it.

Ah man I got the skill super explosion for Soulhacker but it doesn't seem to work. Unless incapacitated doesn't mean killed in which case jury is still out

What does the game say it is supposed to do?

Deal 1000% of your attack damage around you when incapacitated. But when my Noah dies I don't see any damage

I can confirm that they certainly used to because that's where I got mine before. Haven't played since the update so I don't know if they still can or not. I will admit I raised an eyebrow when you said the Vuaga was down there though because of that.

Yeah, having played now it seems the Gogol who I got the Olipple from pre-update now throws Vuaga instead.

I did a sweep of the other Gogol types I know of and couldn't find Olippe at all... nor Dalm still. Still two types of fruit thrown by two types and the Drum Gogols in Fornis still don't appear to toss fruit just as before.

Yeah I think I've swept through all of the Gogol types and I can't get anything thrown by Drum Gogols, Corsaire Gogols, or Wannock Gogols, but the others all throw different fruit.

I've seen Corsaire Gogols throw fruit (those are the ones in Pentelas Upper Woods in the mushroom area dead end, right?) but it's a repeat.

So tldr is that you still can't finish that collectapedia card properly? Lol

You can finish all collectapedia cards now if you already got an Olipple pre-patch, but otherwise yeah its looking like they just switched which one was unobtainable (though its possible that we just cant find it I guess)
