I've watched Twitch pretty actively for over 5 years now <_<

I've watched plenty of streamers daily/every stream, but less so now because internet sucks where I am.

I've even met two twitch streamers and been on one of their live streams. >_> That was over 4 years ago though. Neither stream anymore.

I'm lurking in two right now.

99% VODs.

I work nights, so my schedule just doesn't let me watch live.

Mostly Asmongold and Uberhaxornova. But thats just about it.,

Only when Crossout does Twitch drops. But even then, I'm not really watching. It just runs in the background.

i haven't actively watched twitch in many years

i get it though, for awhile there i was pretty addicted to watching one streamer that had a good sense of humor and mainly played stuff i was interested in

i tried to get back into it a few times but never really felt like i could find a good channel

oh i also streamed a bit last year, that was fun but not something i'd want to do all the time.

With the exception of sports, I dont get why anyones interested in watching things live anymore. On-demand is so much more convenient. And then there always seems to be too much fluff with streamer material, so even when theres a good few minutes here and there, its usually buried in hours of downtime, just random nonsense, and thanking for donations, so that kills my interest in watching/listening to replays of their stuff, too.

I watch streamers that mostly speedrun stuff or play games.

Watching after fact is boring to me becuase there's no interaction and the time commitment of watching a 5 hour speedun is daunting compared to "I'll drop in, chat a while and can leave whenever"

Deadly serious here but I have never heard of Twitch.

If it is nothing but watching people play games no thanks I am not into that sort of thing.

It has things other than games.

You can watch just chatting, people on the beach, people eating food, just about anything you could want to watch live that isn't already produced by a major business (IE pro sports)

Gaming is the bulk of the content though.

I dont. I've tried but it feels like such a time sink.

Maybe a live tournament stream here or there. But that was ages ago.

The way I've put it, is it's like Rent a Friend, with the funny guy or hot girl. I think that's the itch that's getting scratched.

But, everyone has different tastes in their time wasting. And their money spending.

When I do, it's usually never for more than a couple minutes at a time. But very rarely I will spend some actual time on a livestream. Jerma's baseball game last year comes to mind.

I hear about that a lot. Legendarily aggressive in forcing ads.

The only one I watch is tied to a podcast I listen to.

Every so often he'll suggest a movie that can't be found free on demand, so he'll stream it on his Twitch channel continuously for 24 hours.

I have like 3 times for maybe about 5 minutes total each time.

I try to watch live when I can because I like commenting.

I watch a lot of people live. I love kaizo ironmon (most people probably haven't heard of that) and some smash ultimate
