It's always funny watching Christians twist themselves into pretzels when you show them morality is a result of evolution and not religion. Helps the species as a whole. A species that helps each other and doesn't cannibalize itself for sustenance will last much longer. I'm aware of most all those things listed (and hours of debate could also be had on each individual one, for example, that mutilation bit (and some of them I agree with, like discouraging marriage! :P)). I still view him as more progressive than the hardcore old testament types, simply because of the things he did. But I mean, yeah, of course, there's a reason I'm not a Christian. I fundamentally disagree with the morality of all this, of course. It's one thing to learn from mistakes and grow to be a better person and while many people who do follow Christianity likely do try to be better people. The fact that the religion teaches that the only thing that matters is to believe in God, then you can be as awful as a person as long as you believe in God.
