I wonder how the rules work. You'd argue that announcing it the day before would kill his race and to do it after would help get the party vote, but the day of is interesting- maybe?

Their literal, unironical argument was "if a 12 year old becomes pregntant, it's unfair to the unborn child to be stripped of the right to be born into a family".
