Neither. I've had gray patches for years and it looks good on me, and baldness isn't something I need to worry about genetically.

38 this year, neither is a problem yet. I do have gray hairs show up in my beard from time to time but not in my actual hair, and no balding. In fact I'm currently growing my hair pretty long for the winter.

Greying a bit. My family greys early. Started getting them down there first for some reason when I was 30. I'm 34 now and got a few in my hair up top. I'll take that over balding.

Greying. Balding doesn't really run in my family, so I'm not worried about that. I do already have several grey hairs popping up though

minoxidil is very effective? heard they have a much cheaper generic now. Before, the original costed lots iirc.

I don't have a problem with either happening, though my expectation is that I'll probably go from blond to grey to white in the span of a year and a half, tops, judging from family history.

My hairs thinning a bit at the front (but always had a high hair line/fivehead). I dont mind and am not precious about it, but it annoys me that its not strictly symmetrical and its thinning slightly more/faster one one side than the other.

It's very effective when you combine it with fin. Basically, they kinda work off each other. Min helps regrowth and fin helps stabilize it and keep the hairs.

And yes, do get yourself genric min. I use Kirkland foam brand, which is fairly cheap on Amazon, and for fin I was able to convince my doctor to prescribe it, but if you can't there are plenty of websites like medzino where you can get it very easy.

How much are generic? iirc you have to very very studious, use it very often all the time. That's why many guys dislike it

Graying. I started going gray early, and it was quite noticeable by the time I was 30. I think it slowed down after that. It's not much worse now than it was then, but it's still quite noticable.

I am in my late 40s, and (knock on wood) nothing with my hair is really a problem. I have a pretty full head of hair (a little thinner on top than it used to be, but not really noticeable) and I have very few gray hairs on my head.

My problem is my beard. It has grown very fast all my life-I had a full beard and mustache at 13 and had to start shaving (it is hard to keep up with even when I shave every day), and it is now white/gray af. A few brown patches mainly overtaken by hairs that grow more white every year.

I have no idea why my head contains still thick dark hair while my beard makes it look like I fell face first in a snow bank. When I do manage to shave, I look 10 years younger.

I've been keeping baldness at bay with finastride but haven't tried minoxidil. If I get it it'll have to be the pill as I'm not comfortable with the foam as a cat owner.

is the generic of minoxidil exactly the same? Didn't hear that a pill is very effective

Generic min will run you about $70 for a 6 month supply, but it will most likely last you a year at minimum. Generic fin will run about $18 on Amazon for a 3 month supply, so roughly $150 a year in total.

But yes, it's fine if you miss a day here and there, but you wanna try to to it every day. But putting it in your hair before bed and rinsing it out in the morning isn't too bad.

Yeah, if you have a cat definitely be careful with min. I will say though, do be careful of the pill variant for minoxidil. It targets more than just your head taking the pill, and can be bad for some people with heart issues.
