I went for the first time in 20 years recently. I'm apparently in excellent condition. So, I pretty much just wasted my time. I'm assuming my 60 year checkup will be similar.

yeah, I think you should go, and then try to start going semi-regularly (like once or twice a year) for checkups if you can afford it.
Health is really important, especially as you get older its not something to mess around with

I get that you are scared. Especially after going for a long time. But trust me, you will be glad that you did. if they find something, it's better that you get addressed and treat it before it really impacts your quality of life. High blood sugar, high cholesterol,.high blood pressure, something precancerous even. Do your physical and do this blood tests. If anything is bothering you, tell them. It's a great wake up call to take your health seriously

Younger people are dying more than before from heart disease, stroke, and certain cancers. Why? Could be from unhealthy diets and lack of exercise and pollution and plastic and shit. Also, A lot of them because they aren't going to the doctors enough, especially if they have a family history of diseases. Especially men.

I was pretty good in my teens to twenties. Despite being active I started getting some health issues in my mid to late 20s because I was eating more and not getting enough sleep, and family genetics were catching up to me.So now despite being very active with walking 4 miles a day and lifting 3 days a week, I have to work twice as hard then someone who doesn't have these issues. I can't "bulk up" and continue to eat 3000 calories a day, because that will take me to an early grave.

That's not a waste of time. Do you have good genetics, do you eat and sleep healthy? That's good for you. But they doesn't mean you shouldn't stop going. Cause anything can turn up at any time. If you don't know what to look for, doctors can't help you with that. Especially things you don't report.

The worst thing you can do is never go to the doctors again just because you are in excellent health now, or perceive yourself to be. Shit changes all the time. Our bodies won't be nearly as efficient as they were decades before. So you can't expect you can do the same things and get away with eating the same for years. Especially if you don't work out.

Even if you feel fine you may not be fine. People have gone to the doctor feeling fine only to find out they have <insert issue here> and if they never went they never would have found out. Do yourself a favor and at the very least, go once a year.

Who tf can afford that much health care?

Who can afford any health care? (Seriously. With a shift to "independent contractors" and the gig economy in general, all on top of the minimum wage 39 part-time hours only culture, I'm surprised anyone can be insured for health care to begin with, let alone afford the plans as an independent.)
