A new Endless Ocean with 30 player online is not something I expected.

I'm glad the Pocket Card Jockey remaster won't be locked to Apple Arcade anymore. The game could do with a greatly expanded sequel or full on remake imo, but it's still fun!

That was one of the rumors. HFR originally planned for Switch, but cancelled because the Switch couldn't run it. Which isn't a surprise, since it's an Xbox Series exclusive, not available on XB1.

It's extremely well-optimized on PC but I guess there are limits. Too bad, but at least we've got a PS5 version.

My thought exactly. It kinda looks like something more fitting to the kinds of games I play on Switch rather than those I play on PS5, but I'm perfectly happy just getting it on PS5.

I think the issue with the Switch version is that it would have been 30fps which is problematic for a rhythm-centric character action game. Not that it couldnt run at all.

The one thing i had any interest in and it's not even getting a demo on PS5. Anyway the direct was trash although i wasn't really expecting it to be good to begin with. The next console is a massive elephant in the room at this point so they can't really win until they just announce the thing.

It's apparently the first 5 or so hours of the game and transfers over, too. I would have eaten this demonthe fuck up.

i get people care about mh stories but i'll be honest and say i was really hoping for a lot of other things when the announcer said "originally released on nintendo 3ds". i do think it's a good thing for mh's sake for it to stay relevant though

it kind of feels like they took too long to capitalise on the marketability of suika game tbh. i genuinely have been seeing people streaming clones more than it now, including ones with really cool puyo puyo-like multiplayer mechanics. it does appear the devs actually took note of a lot of their clones though and it really is nice they've tried to apply their own spin on a number of their multiplayer implementastions

ohhh!!! it's an hd remake of that one adventure game that was super similar to the portopia serial murder case. i've had a real itch to play this ever since beating the first of those Iseshima mystery case games that were a direct homage to this. i hope they can get a localisation at some point, even if it ends up being a low profile one. the music in this version sounds solid too

things i hope don't slip through the cracks and end up unlocalised given the proximity to switch 2 (but they probably will)

one thing i will say negatively about the hokkaido portopia-like game is that i think it is a damn shame it's the famicom version that has this legacy they're trying to emulate now

Fantasy Life's my big thing but I already knew that, October tho :(. Battlefront was cool tho I might get that, then some Wii-era stuff (as someone who didn't play Epic Mickey and isn't really interested in Mickey Mouse that looked cooler than I ever saw of the game before)
