And only sandwich Condiment?

Nothing else is necessary except for maybe ketchup from time to time.

Chipotle Mayo is better.

Also mustard for having near zero calories

Best, yes. Only? No. I like to mix Tabasco with the mayo.

BBQ sauce is good for some type of sandwiches too.

This. I never get sandwiches or burgers at a restaurant anymore because I know they will have it.

Can't you ask them to not put mayo on it?

We just had basically a repeat of this topic 2 weeks ago from the CosmicShadows account. You also just a few weeks ago this month had a "Mayo and BBQ sauce is the best burger condiment" topic which was damn near a copy of the CosmicShadows account topic about mixing Mayo and Ketchup previously. Anyways I'll copy/paste my exact thought from that topic.

"I like it but I prefer to make my own fresh when I want to use some. Just some egg yolks and lemon juice with olive oil and a little salt. Easy and tastes way better than any store bought. I make it in small amounts fresh each time."

I'm not against mayo, but it's not the best and certainly does not stand up as a sole condiment.

Just tell them no Mayo and double check the sandwich/burger before you leave. Hell, most places will add whatever sauce you want on it instead (assuming it's a sauce they have)
