Basically, Firefox updated, and now it won't browse on my computer. It's given my laptop issues in the past, I'm guessing with all the memory it uses.
So yeah, i open Firefox and it's a blank page. Nothing really pops up or works. Can't even go to Google.

is it my computer being too old for Firefox or what?

Maybe try killing it from the processes manager then restart it but yea, if your laptop has been struggling with it in the past it's probably well past the point you should have bought a new one.

I think it is Firefox.
I have it installed because I heard if was better for getting around Youtube ads...which I still haven't tried it.

But I still get a pop-up message telling me it stopped working, even though I haven't even had it open.

I killed the process multiple times. The browser just opens up to almost nothing and will cause windows 10 to crash sometimes.

Like boot into my os's safe mode and then run it?
It's just weird how's it acting. I can click drop down menus, but nothing ever opens.
It feels like it's the update, but I also know my computer has seen better days.

From Reddit, it seems like with their latest update, Firefox DNS lookups are being blocked.

Whatever that means. :P

What all extensions are you using?

Same thing happened to me this morning.

I was able to get the Chrome browser to load so my experiment to have the oldest functioning Windows comouter seems to have come to an end in year 13.

Cant fucking believe this piece of crap Windows 7 installation ran this long.
