That was the case for awhile. As DeShitbag was turning it ever increasingly into a Christo-fascist shithole Republicans were running there while Dems were fleeing. Kind of wish the habit would have continued. I wouldn't mind FL becoming similar to TX if the red-wing drain came from battleground states, turning them reliably blue.

But Republicans don't know how to govern and love proving it, so now many of them are even getting sick of it.

flood insurence is expensive because the govt made it low in the 50's. Too low. Many homes were built where they shouldn't have been. And now the prices are going to where they should be
