No, Kosher food does not require a blessing during production. To my knowledge, it doesn't even have to be prepared by Jews; the sole requirement is following the correct procedures (and ingredient restrictions). "Certified" Kosher food simply claims that an authority very knowledgeable about religious law inspected the process

As far as I know, kosher just means that it was blessed by a Rabbi.

Iirc alcohol is ok if there's so little of it you can't possibly get drunk. I think it's also ok if it's not drank for amusement. Like medicine with alcohol in it should be ok.

This isn't the case for pork.
No, no amount of alcohol is allowed, little or otherwise it's not about trying to get a buzz. The situation where it is permissible is when you're about to die of thirst and lost in the middle of a desert/island and you stumble upon a lake of alcohol beer, in which case it would be okay for you to have a sip or 3 to sustain lifeforce until you can regain normal food and water.

Eating animals that are not meant to be eaten is not the same as somebody not washing their hands after using the bathroom and then dealing with raw pork.

Incidentally, if some of you were wondering about the falafel topic if it was halal or even kosher, usually yes it is. However, be warned that if the falafel was deep fried in bacon grease then no, it would no longer be halal or kosher.

I personally would recommend airbaking it to eliminate this worry altogether plus it's just healthier ergo better.

I wouldn't know since I've never had a falafel that wasn't incredibly dry.

I don't particularly see Halal slaughtering as more cruel than slaughtering in general. The "suffers more" is just nit picking. So a cow bleeds to death over 30 seconds instead getting killed first by a kinetic rod and then drained of blood. Big deal. If you have that much of a problem with it you probably shouldn't be eating meat.
i'm not a person that cares about halal/kosher rules. and an isolated case of an animal suffering during the butchering process won't make me make any kind of decisions. but if you told me a butcher normally let their animals suffer, then i would try to avoid them.

While that's unfortunate, a good temporary workaround until finding a better place that prepares them for you is to dip it in hummus, especially while fresh and still piping hot.
