Id be more apt to believe that you hadnt heard of him rather than you know who he is but havent ever heard anyone say he. And its not like hes only been around a short time. The guy has been pretty known since 1990. I just honestly thought there might be a different Kelly Slater they were talking about. There are a ton of people talked about on this site all the time I have no clue who they are. Especially when it comes to modern singers, or anything to do with YouTube/streaming. Im honestly shocked someone could go the last 34 years knowing someone of that magnitude and had never once seen a context that pointed towards him being a guy. Thats crazy. Knew a guy in the military named Kelly. Grew up with one. To me it was just one of those names that fit both girls and guys I knew. Kinda like Chris.
