Pinwheel. To be fair with Pinwheel, this was literally Nickelodeon's first show going back to the late 70s. Lol Caitlins Way. I liked it, it reeked of early 2000s Canadian teen drama. Same with In A Heartbeat. It aired on Disney in the US.

There were actually more than one Tomorrow People series. There was one that was made in the 70s(which is the one you're probably referring to). They had to watch what they were doing on a monitor to avoid the projectiles, and an editor/judge would log it as a hit if it made content on the screen. Pete and Pete timing is weird because it aired as shorts in 1989, then it had a few specials in the early 90s before it finally had 3 actual seasons from late 1993 to 1996.
