We, the not-morning people of the world, set our alarm clocks and zombie our way to work every day. You can suck it up and stay up late enough to let me eat my damn dinner between leaving work and struggling through rush hour to be at your thing you scheduled at the stupid-ass hour of 6 o'clock.

The hell time you even go to bed? 8?

It's been proven waking up early, getting a good breakfast in, getting outside just after sunrise on your way to work etc is good for your mental health

I'm a lazy slob and night owl myself but I'm under no delusions morning people are probably smarter than me for having their life structured that way

I am also very much a night owl, but bruh, 6PM is a perfectly reasonable time for an event/get together.

Even if youre fully nocturnal, go to bed at 7AM, get 8 hours of sleep and wake up at 3PM, thats still 3 hours to wake up and get ready for your 6 oclock event.

i work graveyard shifts so i sleep at 4pm. and i tell you, waking up at 10pm to start my day is way easier compared to back when i had to wake up at 7am. waking up at that time is fucking dreadful.

When I was on mental health meds times I woke up it took 2 hours sometimes to get out now I'm off them it take 5 minutes max

As a morning person I'm in bed by 8 most nights. Now I usually just lay in bed watching TV till 11, but yeah I do go to bed around 8.

My life is so much better since I started going to be around 10 or 10:30 on most nights. Staying up past midnight as a routine is not beneficial at all. It screws up your mood.

Agree. Mornings do suck. I hated my last job, but for a while I was working 3rd shift again, and it was so nice. Waking up at 5-6am to be at work at like 7-8am sucks. It's not the worst thing I've ever had to do, but I do not enjoy it.

If left to my own devices, I'll usually stay up to like 3-5am and then sleep until noon.
