Forget politics or all the changes to CE. There is a new Mad Max movie on the horizon. It doesn't have Mad Max in it, but who cares? Mad Max is about the world, not the character.

Gonna watch it in imax then 4DX. I don't even like 4DX but I feel like this is a good one for it.

I'm trying to avoid getting too excited because the trailer had CG cars and I'm a bit worried the setpieces will be too cartoony compared to the entire rest of the franchise. That being said, I'm still going to see it because it's Mad Max so it deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Fury Road is one of my all time favorite movies, so I am definitely excited for this, even though I dont expect it to be quite as good.

I think they just got lucky with the first movie, I fully expect the second one to be a dumpster fire and if it's not then I'll be pleasantly surprised. Also there's a bit of suspension of disbelief. I like Anna Taylor Joy but she's a bit of a shrimp. Charlize made sense but... Well I guess we'll just wait and see.
