I was there for that one. I have primarily spent the last 20 years on the main systems boards with the current playstation model always being my "home board" until last year when I moved mostly over to CE just for more activity because even the main system boards are slowing down a lot these days.

This one was one of the funnier topics. I still think the all time best topic was the "dirt expert" during the baseball playoffs in 2006. The pine tar incident. Legendary topic.

Lmao! That topic is something else. I think it's hilarious that Honey76 was so appalled with Healito's behavior, that they stuck with the topic voicing their disgust for nearly three months.

That guy is masterclass 100% trolling.

He got shamed for it enough for months afterwards that he ended up just abandoning that name and stopped logging in. I honestly don't think it was trolling. He lived that life and thought it was normal. lol.

I fucking LOVE that the dude derailed the topic so masterfully that people were getting him confused with the TC and the poor guy who just wanted a mini fridge was catching strays the entire time.

And he got super mad every time it got brought up on other boards, even getting mods to lock the topics or delete the posts.

Somehow the funniest part to me is that post where someone was like "I can't believe you spent $50 on a portable toilet", and when I clicked the link it's currently 69, and he'd no doubt still pay for it.

How was that topic not modded for off topic posting on the ps4 board? I know that 90% of gamefaqs is pretty dead but still surprising that it got to 500

Some of those responses are really stupid. The TC reveals that part of his motivation is because there is a single bathroom in the house that he shares with several people, and he is concerned about what might happen if he couldn't get to the bathroom in time (not everyone can afford to add a new bathroom to their house). This is a pretty serious concern if, for example, everyone in the house gets food poisoning around the same time and one or more of them shit themselves (the latter results in far longer bathroom times due to the need to clean up)

He's right, though. Nowadays you are required to use one of those potty lunchboxes instead of contaminating the ecosystem with your waste. Though the ability to stomach that runs independently from social interaction skills.

Sounds like a far less embarrassing form of that guy in LUE who lived in the south and stated that he kept his sack of potatoes behind the toilet-- and thought it was normal.
For years, many LUEsers assumed that this was a normal southerner thing as a result. He did get teased about it, but not to the degree that people get harassed for such things in this day and age.

On a story in that same vein, at one point a poster made a topic about having cramps and diarrhea at Walmart, then looking in the bowl to see that it was teeming with tiny worms. LUEsers freaked out, and for the next 2 weeks, whenever a LUEser would suffer from stomach cramps or diarrhea, they worried that they had worms. BTW, I fanned the flames (and further freaked out the original poster) by posting endoscopic images of worms in colons in the original thread.

The guy with the portable toilet def should go to psychotherapy if he's not trolling. I mean that as someone who thinks he should get help, not to shame.
