It depends on the intent of either one. Obviously if a bear is intent on harming you it is a much bigger threat. Especially if it is a grizzly bear.

However if the bear was a black bear who just wanted to be left alone it would most likely run away and I'd choose that over another man intent on killing me.

So it just depends.

Prob the man hopefully he doesn't kill me

Could just be a lost hiker

Infact I've seen a man at around 3 am walk through a small patch of forest while I was walking my dog. Scared tf out of me.
Was tempted to shine my light at him lol.
