I'm a fairly big guy and honestly after you account for all of the other toppings that is pretty much about the maximum amount I could fit in my mouth for a bite. Beyond that I would have to skip toppings and it just wouldn't be enjoyable anymore.

Yeah. This is what you do when you actually want a big burger. The doubles, triples, etc are a holdover from an era when people used to eat like 2oz burgers and they started making them bigger by just putting more patties on.

3. a 3x3 with lettuce and tomato only used to be my go-to order at In-N-Out, along with cheesefries and a large Neapolitan shake. now i just get a double-double and regular fries, and just water or no drink.

3 a couple times at Whataburger in my early 20's.

It's actually a standard order option (or at least it used to be) so it's not hard to get.

I was in really good shape at the time though so it wasn't that big of a deal to do it when I did.

To add on to my post it always fucked with my grandad I'd order a triple whopper and my brother would only get a normal one. I was scrawny and he was big.

What he didn't know at the time is I was a stoner and generally had the munchies

Back in high school me and my did went to Burger King when a buddy of mine was working there, I got one of those quad stackers and he ended up putting two more patties on it for me. Felt like fucking Shaggy with that thing, lmao.

I did a burger challenge at Great Canadian Brewhouse once when I was young and had a hollow leg. I had to eat a 6 patty burger and large poutine in some amount of time to get it free.

I demolished the burger but the poutine was so salty it was impossible to eat. Like beyond salty. I complained but it didnt get me anywhere. I never went back.

i go through a pound of beef a week. the one day i can choose how i eat ground beef.
one of the ways is a few hearty burgers

it becomes taco meat on tuesdays instead.
