That straight up took me 30 minutes. In the end the only one left standing was my Ifan main character because I'm a inquisitor with lots of necro and all the best gear and heavy armor. That fight made me realize I need to better gear my other party members.

That was long, challenging, but fucking fun. I miss barely beating bosses, makes you feel so satisfied.

Also, the fact that Ifan was the only one left standing to deal the final blow on the boss, with their story history, was fucking great for my playthrough story lol.

On topic: yes he was one of the hardest bosses in the game.

He himself isn't the problem. It's that there's also a gheist, two melee adds, and two ranged adds, one of which can murder your whole team if you don't go for him first, and a giant worm. There's a lot going on.

Oh I did mean to say the entire fight. My biggest problem in the first part was the Gheist and the one Marksman on the right. The worm was just a huge pain in the ass with the cursed fires.

Off the top of my head there were three other battles that were incredibly problematic for me but I wont spoil them.

Yeah I'm going in blind. No research. And yeah the marksman is rhe one I mean.

I'm going to give you pointers for Act II without spoiling much of anything:

-It is THE biggest act an there are a ton of things to do.
-I would recommend starting the quests from Driftwood and near the city and then work your way up to the northeast. You'll see what I mean when you see level 8-10 vs 15 or so enemies.
-If you have Ifan he has an important story line quest to do here. Hell the same with Sebielle, Beast, and Lohse if you have them too.
-You need to acquire a Source Point quest here but I STRONGLY STRONGLY do not recommend doing Hannag's because hers is a huge pain in the ass. In fact going off from the last point you can kill 2 birds with one stone by doing Ifan's quest and getting that needed Source point.

That is all I can remember from the top of my head.
