Immersion packs for fucks sake. 3 huge DLCs that add more boring buttons WHILE NERFING the old expansion features. "it sold so well! IT MUST BE GOOD!" crank out the immersion pack DLC jake says, it's fine jake says, let's balance the game around the 1% of multiplayer players and fuck over fun tag switching and religion and lets not fix the huge swath of old issues and bad mechanics that have been prevalent for years. and my god is the Golden Century really fucking tepid. it's so lacking and misguided in the region it is supposed to help and resells the "raid coast" function from Mare Nostrum into another DLC with pirate nations. just reusing shit like the Venice government factions. they know they're casual dumb fan base will eat it up and it shows in the sales of these crap 2018 DLCs. look how well Stellaris is doing in innovating the game and Holy Fury was the best DLC for CK2 in a long time.
