Oddly because I replayed assassins creed syndicate and unity recently lol. Now I'm wrecking shit. I had gotten the complete edition on sale on psn and never got into it.

Never got into it. The game took forever to get to the army building shit. I get the point for doing that in the first game but that should have been there fairly early in the second game.

Tbqh I never beat the first, so I'm enjoying it getting me into the flow of shit.

I should see about buying this over the summer, since SoM lit a fire under me. The uruk politics can get a little fatiguing, though.

I definitely feel more powerful now. I have like multiple units I can summon in battle, including my mount which fights for me. Lots of skills and easy to get a chain going since I'm fresh off those two AC games.

It took me a while to get into Shadow of Mordor, but once I did, it was a really fun game.

I on the other hand tried to get in shadow of mordor but just disliked its aesthetic immediately. People said it was like ac mixed with Arkham but I couldn't see how that was true. I wasn't feeling any of the interest I get from playing those 2 series. I dont think I like the concept of building armies and orcs ick.

What made it click for you in case I ever go back and give it another shot?

Making use of summonable units as distractions. Their respawn timers aren't too bad and can be shortened. In shadow of war anyway.
