I think this is the first poll in a long while where I had to stop and think about it for over a minute. These were tremendous games, Nintendo's golden age.

I voted for Earthbound. Kinda sad even a majorly lff'd Super Mario RPG is beating it, though.

a few years ago I would have said SMW easily....but I've replayed DKC2 like 3 times recently and listen to the soundtrack all the time. DKC2 gets my vote.

Super Metroid is in my top 5, A Link to the Past is in my top 10, Super Mario World is in my top 15, and Yoshi's Island is in my top 25. I haven't beaten any of the other games in the poll and haven't played any of them aside from Super Mario RPG.

Donkey Kong Country 2 is the only Nintendo game which I can see getting into my top 10 Nintendo games.

Yeah, Super Mario Kart is a glaring omission. Could have replaced half the games on this poll and been fitting.

DKC2 was a Rare/Nintendo collaboration. SMRPG was a Square/Nintendo collaboration.

I voted for SMRPG. EarthBound, SMW, SMRPG, KSS, LttP, and DKC2 are all in my top 10-15 games ever though. No doubt in my mind that SNES is the best console of all time.

My current top 10 Nintendo games:

1) Super Mario Bros. 3
2) Super Metroid
3) Super Mario Galaxy 2
4) Super Mario Galaxy
5) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
6) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
7) Super Mario 64
8) Metroid Prime
9) Super Mario World
10) Super Smash Bros. Melee

Sitting right outside are Twilight Princess, Star Fox 64, Majora's Mask, Brawl, and Ocarina of Time. Can't see something like Mario Kart 64 coming ahead of Melee or anything crazy like that.
