From my experience, you'll have about three Centaurs in the white packs and two gladiators in the blue packs. The other whites could be anything, but they won't be the Statue of Liberty or the skateboard chick.

And if you've got one that feels like the Statue of Liberty, it's actually the flamenco dancer.

There are, apparently, ways to tell what's inside without opening them.

The first two series have an identifier barcode (and there are iOS and Android apps to read them), and the later ones have braille-like indentations that also mark which minifig is in there.

One day, I will learn to read these codes and start buying the figs I want.

I think the ones with bigger props are rarer, because they would understandably cost more despite selling for the same amount. So, Surfer and Eskimo in Series 5 and Skater girl and Legionnaire in Series 6, I'd guess.

Having no idea what figures are in either set besides a couple, I don't know what to expect going in here. I guess this particular one has been talked about in here, so I guess I got a good one? I suppose I like the look of her well enough, though I wish she could be posed with the board and also on the black base.

Now this is what I like to see. Our friend here can "hang ten" on his board all the while being on his display base! The skater might edge him out as my favorite so far just because I like that figure's design more, this guy is a bit basic all told.

A Gray!

I say this guy on the front of the bags and thought, "this one looks pretty cool, I would not be disappointed if I got him". So that's good. The actual figure is good, but after those two boards this more basic gun leaves a little to be desired. I also got that alien tripod today that everyone is raving about. COINCIDENCE?

UGH this guy is awful. This is like the opposite of the alien, one look at him on the bad and I hoped I wouldn't get him. SO BORING. Definitely my least favorite so far.

Desperado!

Oh my, how cool. This guy's face, is the best lego face I've ever seen. I'm pretty impressed. My only complaint is that most of his accessories obscure his magnificent head!!

Automaton!

Another figure I saw on the packaging and liked. Very different from the usual lego man, obviously. That's probably why I like him so much. I also like the little key on this back you have to build. Some people might be annoyed by it, but I like having to do a little building to make my mini-figures.

Wow, we're finally here. Figure 7. I never thought I would make it so far so fast. It seems like just yesterday I was opening up that skate girl.... Oh well.

My hopes for the last one? Well, to be honest I really wanted the Statue of Liberty. I guess that's the one I would want get. The Legionnaire would be OK too, if only because it is apparently so rare/expensive/whatever.

This has really been fun, and no matter who is last, I have had a good time. I may even try this again sometime. Hm, I guess that's enough chat. Here goes nothing......

The palace guard (NOT REDCOAT) is a Series 5 figure, so I'd be very surprised if you'd found him in a Series 6 bag.

Well Jek Porkins and his R5-D8 only come with the new X-Wing which I bought last week.

He's awesome, but they've printed his visor on his face, which is fine, but I was hoping they'd give him a different face on the back and some hair, so I could have him without his helmet. Luke doesn't have any hair either, but I can get Luke hair from elsewhere.

Yeah I thought they used to have helmets with visors but now Porkins just looks silly without it on. I think the Luke I got is a misprinted, his facial features look weird compared to what they show on the box. Not that it matters, I got a ROTJ Luke from the Imperial Shuttle and he's great.

The only Lego dudes I got from these booster pack thingies is the Viking and the Wolfman from Series... 3? I think? I bought three packs last July, haven't seen em in stores since (though I don't go to Toys R Us all THAT often, only like once or twice since then), and I got those plus a duplicate Viking which I gave to someone else.

I really would like to make it to the Lego Store some time. They have this build-a-figure station with all these big bins of various heads, torsos, legs, etc, and you can put together your own minifig out of them, though there do seem to be intended combinations.

Yeah and I'm not sure if they all even have that, I just know the one in NYC has it. I've just never made it there because every time I'm in the city, I'm too busy visiting family and friends to make a trip to the Lego Store.

Been contemplating sending a friend there with $50-$100 to get me as many Lego guys as that will buy, and have them mailed to me.
