Save the money for Jihl, and get the Lighting DLC battle, or better yet the Gilgamesh battle instead.

all of the arena fights are pretty tough and usually require some strategy that only works for that one fight!

I feel hopelessly underleveled! It probably doesn't help that my monsters are just random crap I found going through the game.

also I fought a don tonberry while looking for a purple chocobo and omfg

I used both my elixers to stay alive because I had no wound potions. :(

after barely winning I went straight to chocolina and bought 99 of them yes I did

1: Beat the story
2: Get all the endings and locations and do sidequests
3: When you have like 90% of the Fragments you are probably powerful enough to win

Also, Jihl is probably the easiest DLC fight except Omega, and also the most boring IMO.

The ones you really want are Snow/Valfodr, Gilgamesh and Ultros.

man that's a whole lotta stuff left to do!

i'm chocobo racing now

and the thought of paying extra cash for snow...just isn't appealing for some reason.
