people say it's the best platformer in years and that it was worth $60 back when it first came out

i was gonna get it when toys r us had it for $20 awhile back, but they were always sold out

Rayman is excellent. Great level design and just really fluid controls. You really feel "in control" and I really appreciate that. There's also quite a lot to collect and it's just fun. It also has some really difficult levels for you difficulty lovers.

It also has NSMB Wii multiplayer-like shenanigans. So if you have friends, have fun with that.
