This game has been in development forever and then delayed like 4 times lol. As I would close my eyes every night to go to sleep, I'd think "Is Persona 5 even real anymore or am I going crazy?" But it's finally here, playable in the superior language, and real!


It's like having blue balls for 4 years, and then getting the best BJ ever for like 80 hours straight.

persona 5 is legit one of the most refreshing game i have played in years. it's definitely not normally the type of game i'd play, but between this and dark souls, i havent been this fascinated by a video game in years, and before this and DS i was definitely losing interest in gaming.

in a time when it feels like most games are made in a board room, it's awesome to see some weird dungeon crawler / high school sim / monster collecting game with a heist theme and edgy art style. it doesnt give the vibe it's made to sell copies, just to be a cool experience

Great to hear. Now you see why I've been rubbing my Mara to this game series for years. 3 & 4 are just like this too.

I was getting bored and cynical about games, but then I played Persona 3 and it was such a breath of fresh air, it brought me back to loving video games again >_> So I can empathize man.

it takes a good 5-6 hours of playtime until the game gives you reigns to do whatever you want.

and thats a good thing.

Persona 3 gave you freedom like right off the bat and i was so overwhelmed i put it down.

Free roam starts at 4/18, which is probably 5 hours in >___>

One of my complaints is how long the intro is, but at least it's much more engaging than P4's slow ass intro.

yes this and a few other RPGs and random games throughout the years have been the only games I've played that weren't replays of metroids or mega mans or halflife, it's a unique game and I'm glad it's finally out. good thing I bought persona 3 fes for $4 that one day on a whim then played it like a year later on account of @Vamp_Aubrey 's recommendation

Winter 2014 finally came.

The first Megaten game I played was Persona 3, though I owned Persona 2 Eternal Punishment before that. I don't know why, but the game spoke to me when I saw it on the shelf at EB. I love me some RPGs, and here was a very stylish looking RPG, wrapped in a very stylish blue box. I picked it up, played it, and completed it. Damn good game.
