I loved the Crichton books and the first 2 movies it was based off of were great, but the 3rd, which wasn't based on a book was garbo.

Is World trash or is it good? >_>

Most people will say it was good.

I didn't enjoy it all that much. Not sure why. I also loved the books. You may fall in the same boat as me where we liked 2 much more than 3 even though reviews say it's the other way.

the 3rd movie was actually closer to the books than the first two though

Why can't it just be decent? Why do nerds have to always deal in absolutes?

I remember they used cut parts from the books in the movie. (ie: the pterodactyl cage in 3 was actually in the 1st book)

But I didn't like it

I wouldn't call it "good", but it was entertaining.

it's good but also silly in a lot of aspects. People give the Lost World shit for having the daughter defeat a raptor with gymnastics but then think it's awesome when they're used as trainable allies. Both are ridiculous and over the top.

I marathoned them all last month and thought Jurassic World was the worst one by far. The plot is driven by inexplicable stupidity more than all the previous films combined. It's watchable though anyway.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'd probably rank the films as follows:

JP > JW > Lost World > JP3

GT: ShadowElite86
Fire Emblem Heroes: 9854340417

People will find any reason to shit on something they don't like while ignoring something similar in something they do like. It's weird.
