There needs to be a simpler way to update all that legal nonsense so that everyone's getting their royalties, as opposed to having to re-file permission to use all that stuff just so that the whole contract includes the re-release as part of it all.

Same crap is the reason why some artists who use extensive sampling (and also probably didn't bother much with keeping track of them) in their music can't have their stuff on streaming services.
