Same here. I played the demo last year and then it just disappeared. Cool to see it finally out.

Sneaky Ninja still isn't out. Release date listed as May 2017. I think it was March 2017 a few weeks ago, while it was April. I hope it comes out soon.

It didn't really look interesting to me personally, but I could at least admire the passion put into it

BTW, how do you make a bad version of Settlers of Catan? That game has pretty strictly-defined parameters, so it would be hard to fuck up, unless they tried to make it slightly different to hide the fact they were obviously ripping it off

Because it's a bigger waste of money in the long run than buying expensive games. Doesn't Steam occasionally publish statistics (or maybe they're always readily-available) on how much of people's Steam libraries actually get played, and it's always in like the 12-20% range?


The only game I can remember paying $60 recently, possibly ever, is Breath of the Wild, and guess what? I put over 100 hours into that, because I bought it because I actually wanted to play it, not just because I could. It's easy to not buy $60 games that you have no interest in playing. It's less easy to avoid buying $2 games that you have no interest in playing, so I try to avoid it as much as I can. And by avoid it I mean avoid Steam. I already waste money on Xbox 360 deals and I just know Steam would make it 10x worse

Apparently it's just poorly rated because while it's advertised as free to play, that only lets you play the tutorial, and then it's buckets of microtransactions.

Oh let's talk about Bible Adventures now. I kinda want it because I haven't played most of the classic AVGN games and it would be cool to play one. But it's also a real bad game so I probably shouldn't waste my money on it.

Yeah, it sucks horribly. I liked his first review of it because that's basically how I felt about it. We'd try that game several times and couldn't figure out what the hell was going on, so we only made it like a minute into the game. Then he later did a more in-depth review of it and it kind of ruined the mystique of the game to me because for a long time I legitimately thought it was so broken that you couldn't get anywhere in it. Watching him explain it probably doesn't do it justice, TBH. I imagine to somebody unfamiliar with the game it looks ridiculous how he doesn't get anywhere (in his first review), but it really is that hard to figure out.

Oh hi. <_< Sorry, I only come here a few times a week these days.

But yeah, Sneaky Ninja's still not out yet... Got slowed down by some technical issues on Wii U, which I'm still committed to because of the Kickstarter. I don't wanna just cancel it and jump to the Switch. Fixed the majority of those issues, but I don't want it to continue holding back the PC version so I'm putting that to the side for now.

As for the release date... soon! Working my butt off, but it's really hard to judge how long something will take until I do it -- which is (part of) the reason my release estimates always suck. But soon!
