Um...it was explained way early in the movie that different personalities can have different traits, tho the therapist didn't think it was possible to become more than human, but clearly he could, got super strong and endurable. The twist was that it was secretly an origin story for an Unbreakable trilogy. They announced last week that Glass is coming out, which gave away the Unbreakable thing.
