Board 8 > Board 8. Please decide what I play next. I'm in a dilemma.

Played about 10 hours of Zelda: BotW but had to put it down in favor of Persona 5, Nioh and NieR. Thought I'll make time for it after I beat those games, so, here we are. I plan to do everything there is to do in this game (which is something I only do for games I love these days) and really soak everything the game has to offer. I plan to restart completely since I won't be playing a Zelda game for a long while after this, mainly because I've beaten every mainline 2D and 3D title (except spin-offs) to-date.

Next we have Horizon: Zero Dawn. That game actually looks like a western open world RPG that would intrigue me because it focuses on story and characters a lot more than your average WRPG and has great combat to boot. There's a reason why ME2 remains easily my favorite WRPG to date for that reason alone. So my expectations for this game are quite high.

Then we have Trails in the Sky SC. The first game finishes off on a cliffhanger and it just leaves you wanting for more. It really does a great job of making you attached to the characters and the world of Liberl with its beautiful storytelling and amazing collection of soundtracks. I heard the SC is the conclusion to Estelle's tale and it is one which I've really anticipated. The only reason why SC had sat so long without being played is because of the amazing sensation that is Persona 5 (which by the way was only my most anticipated game EVER and one which lived up to the hype). Even though I've a lot of games I want to play, namely the ones in this topic, if I have to be brutally honest this is the one I want to play the most. But I'll honor the topic and let the board decide.

As for the rest. They are all games I want to play or have played but abandoned for various reasons (looks at Xenoblade X). But if the board votes enough for any of them I will hold my promise and play it over the 3 games I actually want to play the most.

Tekken 7 and Injustice 2 will be single player Story-mode only. I rarely have time to get good enough in a Fighting game to play it competitively.

So with that I say, Board 8 please do the honors.

It's not gonna get many votes but what you should do is What Remains Edith Finch

It's excellent and it's like 3 hours max.

So I vote play What Remains of Edith Finch and then start the highest-vote game, because everything else in the poll will take way longer

Holy smokes. I did not expect this many votes for Berseria.

I realize I forgot to mention that it is the only game on the list where I'm kinda cheating by skipping ahead of games I still wanna play in the series.

Graces f, Xillia 1 and 2, Zestiria are still on my 'to play' list. But I heard a great deal of good things about Berseria that I didn't about the other ones and the last Tales game I played was excellent (Vesperia). So that is why it made the list over Graces f and the others.

I do plan to play all of them eventually but Berseria is up first.

I dunno, I've never played Nocturne. Apocalypse overall improved the game mechanics (navigating Tokyo is actually easy now!), and they gave it a story that's more similar to the Devil Survivor/Persona games, in that it has a full cast of characters and party members. Some say that's a negative because that's not what the mainline SMT series is supposed to be, but I thought it was a really nice improvement.
