It is obviously b7 here but the kids body are literally skeleton with scraps of meat left.

His hands are surprisingly intact, but arms, ches, feet are all just skeleton dangling there, like the ones you'd see in labs. His organs are no more, only hollow ribcage with pieces of red and white. His head and hair are intact, although his lower face are chewed off.

I think the internet has corrupted me. Normal person would freak out seeing that, i just smirked in amusement.

It is kinda weird still, i am used to a regular corpse being handled and bagged, and usually rigor mortis sets in and the corpse just act like it is frozen.

This one, the kid's,limbs are just dangling there. With no muscle or anyting to hold itz it is like those string puppet

It's a pretty old story.

The kid already died from drowning before the piranhas got to him. In actuality, the movies do not make out how piranhas actually behave. They won't dare go near a live human being. The only time is if they're on the brink of starvation.

There isn't a lot of meat in your hands so scavangers will avoid them until there's nothing else left.

I remember this. This was quite a while back if it's the same I'm thinking of. It was pretty popular as a shock image used in bait videos.

Piranha are generally pretty docile, Hollywood has completely overblown them because they are fish with sharp teeth. They don't go into feeding frenzies if you swim in water with them, it's quite the opposite and it repels them. They feel on corpses of animals and other fish, and rarely even bite living humans.

Jeremy Wade of River Monsters covered them quite a bit, and even put himself in a small wading pool full of them and they had no interest in him whatsoever. They kind of just huddled near the edge of the pool away from him with not even as much as a curious nibble.

So they are scavenger and not predators?

I remember seeing that some time ago. But as people said, the kid was dead already so it's not like he got eaten alive.
Now there's some real dark stuff out there that I've heard about.

Or just the size. I mean humans are a hundred piranhas worth while mice are more or less the same size

Were they raised in captivity or wild? That makes a large difference also. It's like how you can train a snake to eat frozen mice in captivity, or water turtles to eat live fish, when they are typically vegetarians in the wild.

A piranha raised in captivity could be fed live food from a young age and as an adult, it will be all they eat.

Generally in the wild, they are scavengers, and also eat vegetation. I'm sure there are exceptions depending on species, region, and availability of food in the area, but i'm speaking on more general terms.
