I live in indonesia and my ankle non contrast MRI cost around 200 bucks.
My aunts brain MRI cost only like 600 USD. I looked it up, i see ankle MRIcan cost 600-1500 USD and brain can cost like 1500-3000 USD. I have heard many healthcare horror from america and they all sound so damn scary for the average citizens. The going rate for an hour long research scan varies from 600-900 depending on the institution. Though, this rate is probably vastly different from a medical scan.
