This could also be a sign of a bigger problem, lack of major 3rd party releases. TBQH, there are plenty of good Nintendo games lined up for the next year or so, but I don't want to miss out on the big multi-format releases...like I do with the Wii U.

I don't get it. The Switch is doing fairly well, so it would've made sense to release the new COD for it.

What are you talking about? There was lots and lots of thirty-party releases for the Gamecube, and quite a lot for the Wii.

AAA games take years to develop. Some of the ones coming out now were in development before the Switch was close to being announced, so expecting recent releases on the Switch is somewhat unrealistic.

We probably won't see many AAA games on Switch for a while because devs have only had about a year or so with dev kits. The console is selling well beyond its expectations, and devs seem to like the hardware, so we'll probably see more third parties announcing titles on Switch next year.

This, playing the campaign and combat training modes would still be fun in portable form without needing an internet connection. I played the fuck out of the Wii U version of Black Ops 2, which I think was the last one that was released on a Nintendo console.

Ghosts was the last one. I haven't played any since then. -_-

I'd think about getting it if it had a Switch port, even though I don't like World War II games anymore.
