Relaxation and breathing control i get, but empty your mind? Never able to do that. There is always something in my head. They keep spinning, whisperin, i cannot not think about something. I dont know how.

Some Buddhists continually repeat scripture. You could try focusing on something simple and repetitive that you find relaxing.

I feel like I have really good control over emptying my thoughts but even then, I still can't completely clear my mind. There are always these little tiny half-fragments of thoughts that come and go. I just accept that I can't reach true 0% and don't worry about it. It's not the point of meditation anyway. You just clear your mind insofar as to receive the benefits of meditation.

I like mindfulness meditation, which usually focuses on being present, just analyzing incoming sensory information.

Really? Stuff just keeo coming that wont me relax and i ended uo fidgeting.

Don't engage incoming thoughts, just let them pass by like the wind. They will eventually quiet.

Visualization idea: you are a rock and those thoughts are running water, just let it run off over you, but don't let it move you.
