While I see his point about "addicts in withdrawal", why does he want a state ban? Isn't he happy with his own home ban? Let people parent their own children.

I don't think a ban is a good idea just because of how unenforceable it is but if there's a danger to children then I don't see why he shouldn't try to raise awareness on this.

Now, this is OK. Warn people about bad stuff, but let them decide if they still want to do it.

The problem with that is that a lot of parents are complete dumbasses.

I'm wondering what kind of studies have been done on children and smart phones. We know that too much TV, even educational TV, is detrimental to children and it seems like a smart phone would be at least as bad.
