Board 8 > How does XBOX One still exist?

Like l literally haven't bought a single game for it since the latest Forza. I've been looking to add some games to my collection but everything it has, the PS4 has it or the PC does. Not to mention the staggering amount of must own exclusives the PS4 having over it, is jarring to say the least.

What is even the reason to own this system over the PS4? Halo 5? A 6/10 game at best? The best game I've played on the system which is an exclusive is Sunset Overdrive and it wouldn't even make my Top 300 list

The Bone better come up with a few must own games soon as it is being b**** slapped by the PS4 left and right. Or it's time to pull the plug. I legitimately pity people who chose the Bone over PS4 because they are missing out on the best games of the generation.

What is even coming out that I can't just get on the PS4 or my computer?

Seriously, I'm voting Bone as the worst system of all time and Microsoft should be banned from making future systems for showing its heights of laziness with this.

This is a rant topic for how frustrated I am with Microsoft for this poor excuse of a system after 360 gave PS3 a run for its money. In hindsight the console wars seems like the stupidest thing to ever even exist.

Not everyone gets all 3 systems.

Microsoft relies on brand loyalty and the fact majority of multiplatform games are on theirs.

Also relies on Halo/Gears of War fans.

But it is robbing people from experiencing the best games today. Like literally every great game being released today is a PS4 exclusive.

I have completed a grand total of 4 Xbox One games to date: Halo 5, Gears of War 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Sunset Overdrive. Two of which aren't even exclusives. I can't even count the number of PS4 or Wii U games I've beaten in my head. And I suspect I'll have played and beaten more Switch games in a few months than this sorry excuse of a system.

After the 360 gave the PS3 a run for its money? If there was any "b**** slapping" done over the past 2 generations, it was the one Microsoft gave to Sony last generation after they tried to adopt a holier than thou attitude.

Microsoft should have made a killing with its leadership and loyalty in the way of online console gaming on the 360, but their incredible arrogance from the moment the Xbone was announced crippled them. This damaged the PS3 too in a way that took years to recover from, but Sony didn't also have to deal with privacy issues during the height of the Snowden frenzy like Microsoft did. It snowballed tremendously hard onto the Xbone and it deserved it.

EDIT: Xbone has Rare Replay though so that's nice at least.

But console war bullshit is so tired. Don't you understand that even a worse Xbox One is better than no competition for the PS4 at all?

The PS2 dominating its generation is what put Sony in there PS3 position, and the 360 did the same thing to Microsoft.

Also, "exclusives" are overblown. I say this as a person who owns every system so I can play them:

Think about it, the Wii sold more systems than there are bibles and it's library of titles was embarrassing.

A thousand times this. At one point when I worked at Wal-Mart in electronics, I remember selling Black Ops II when it first came out. The customer asked me what I thought of the game, and when I told him I didn't play it, he immediately assumed I was a Halo fan.

It is what it is. Now I'm in the Army and a large number of people I know play those as well. Casuals gonna do casual things.

it's cheap.
you can get a One S for $200 right now even. i mean it's not like it's competing in the overall market really, it's estimated at around 30 mil in comparison to over twice that with the PS4. it's basically PS4, Nintendo, and cheaper shittier console that plays a lot of the PS4/PC games.

Scorpio will help balance that out a bit more but it loses the price advantage in favor of power.

Pretty much everyone I know who only has Xbox are people who just only ever played Microsoft consoles. They don't really compare systems, they just bought it because it has the Xbox name and that's all they ever play.
