I kickstarted the game.

It was successful enough to warrant a console release.

Good for that team, good for everyone involved in the creation of the game. I'm excite.

In isnt really the same. It also dont need a multiplayer. Whike it is a,nice addition like in neverwinternights or even baldurs gate 2, it doesnt need mp at all

Yeah, that was stupid af, and obsidian got the butt end of the stick for something they cannot control.

Hope poe 2 is really self published, plus there is rumor that obsidian will have their own publishing arm for smaller games

They are literally the same genre and you're technically correct it doesn't need multiplayer but it would be real fuckin' neato.

It is same different kind of thing tho. Dos is turn based, poe is rtwp, poe is structured like a more restricted story based crpg, dos is more like Ultima vii simulation with pnp elements added.

I am not the developer, but i dont see the harm of adding local or internet co op in the campaign, but i also think it still good without it.
