I've been wanting to do this for awhile so I can play PC games with a controller and have them display on my TV. I have no idea what to do or how to do it but it would be pretty cool to play some games on tjenTV from my PC. Anybody have any ideas or what I should buy?

It'd be nice to play Mega Maker on the big screen.

Yeah never thought of that. Inwas thinking of a few of the games in my Steam library but that would be awesome to play too.

If your pc has the port, just connect the same wire you connect to the monitor to the pc. That simple.

Doesn't your TV already have an RGB monitor input port? Or your PC have an HDMI output port?

I use a $10 25-foot HDMI cable and a $8 USB Bluetooth adapter, that's literally it.

I should probably clarify that I have a laptop so I couldn't use a wire from a monitor to PC since I don't have one.

What ports does your laptop have, if any?

A few USB ports, and the charger slot (obviously). I believe it also does have HDMI.

your laptop has some output and if that output isn't hdmi, there exists a converter.

Personally, I didn't like it for gaming. As I don't have or want a wireless keyboard, mouse, or controller and didn't like the steam controller. Which some love to be fair.

A chromecast does what I want for the most part and I don't need to change any wires or limit my pc to needing to near my TV

Uh...

I said I think it does. There is one slot where my flash drives don't fit that I think is HDMI but it could be something else.

Yeah I got some sort of PlayStation knockoff controller I use a lot but it actually works very well with every game I've played it with. It isn't wireless but works well. I thought I would use that for the controller to use if I did use the TV to play games on my laptop.
