apolloooo 08/18/17 10:54:44 AM #1:	Blew my mind. I love it. My exposure of monster horror films are usually those awful cliche ridden shitty horror flicks. I came in expecting the grandfather of horror cliche, but it wasnt like that at all. It was brilliant, the characters aren't these walking stereotypes, the suspense and tension is real instead of cheap jumpscares. The gore used very tastefully and alot more than just a cheap shock value, but instead portraying the alien nature of that Thing and the threat they pose to life on earth. The special effects are amazing too, hold up pretty well, and def lots better than todays cheap CGIs I really, really love the 'whodunit' situation, in fact, it is the elements that mafe the whole movie, the interaction between characters are quite believable and so are their actions. The subtle foreshadowing in the scenes are brilliant too and wont be easy to notice on your first time. For example ~~the noose in the locked up doctor's room imply he is already dead and killed himself long before they came on to check~~ It didnt even dawn on me till the last scene. I thought he was just contemplating or something.
