So i was organizing my paper binders, little did i know there was a little gecko hanging underneath. I put it down, and it was a heavy one.

When i put ot down it crushed the geckos lower body. Not just tail, its hind leg was pretty much broken. I saw if dragging amd crawling with its front legs, like zombie crawlers or something, leaving a trail of blood behind.

I decided rather than letting it bled to death, or got eaten alive by ants (by that point there were already a dozen or so of ants surrounding it) i stomped it hard and hipe it died a quick death.

This is a false misconception. They can only regrow their tail. They can not regrow an arm or a leg.

They can not regrow arms or legs, it would have died if it was without a limb. TC did the right thing.

A tail is considered a "limb" but no lizard on the planet is capable of regenerating a hand, foot, arm, or leg.

It is. It struggled so much just moving 10 centimeters. Either it is gonma bleed to death, eaten by ants, starve or die from thirst. Either way a quick way out is the onky mercy i see

They shit literally everywhere. My bike and truck is constantly covered in gecko shit. They get into the house and shit on everything. I have a toddler, I don't know what kind of possible things their shit contains if she touches it and then puts her fingers in her mouth.

I keep the population low. Around 15-20 is cool but when it gets in the 50+ range then it's time to cull.
