People on CE talk as if marriage is already nearly dead, and hooks up are a pretty good substitute for relationships (although in pinky's case, he's engaged and still has 4 or 5 sexual partners a week). Is this really the case? I think it's very sad if true.

I know I at least still want to get married. But that's because I trust my partner which is apparently naive and foolish according to this board.

Overall, people need company and sexual intimacy. Going a long time without these things tends to cause unhappiness.

Times change, milestone events happen later in life. Once upon a time people got married in their teens. That changed and it got pushed to the 20s. Now its more so pushed to the 30s and with so many different ways to meet people these days the traditional dating scene is also changing.

Nothing is dying out. The norm is just changing due to cultural changes in certain countries. *shrug*

No its just marriage will become less common because men get nothing out of it anymore and more people are waking up to this as divorce rates soar.

I love my two ladies, and we have been in a relationship for a while now, I think more people will be dating and having a partner or two they are loyal/exclusive with but will not choose to marry.

Marriage used to be worth wild for men and women but today only women benefit from it so men will keep girlfriends for years but refuse to sign a contract that only hurts them.

Things need to change for marriage, no laws and what happens in a divorce, more bnefits or a good reason for men to sign that contract.

Feminism killed marriage, America is definitely the most feminist country in the world no matter what anyone says. Women don't want or need men for any reason aside from sperm unless you are at least an 8/10 Chad or are way above her level in terms of money/status. Expect to see alot more Red Pillers and MGTOW in the coming years, Trump is just making it worse by giving these guys false hope.

The irony is that even as I post about being against marriage I can honestly say if they allowed you to legally marry more then one person in the US I actually might go for it.

I love my girlfriend and our mistress, both have proven to be loyal and trustworthy when certain situations popped up.

If you truely loved your girlfriend you wouldn't have a mistress. SMH.

I don't think either will. Dating because because it's something that people will want to do, and marriage because too many people make too much money off of it.

I mean, I can still find someone to be with and skip all that marriage bullshit. Why would I pay thousands for a ceremony that basically says I have to give her half my stuff when things screw up in the future?

@Duncanwii

Well considering we as a couple decided to have another woman join us, my girlfriend is bisexual, and the idea of a threesome was a choice we made together I dont see how I dont truely love her.

Our mistress also decided she wanted to be with both of us after a few times. Some people love multiple people, for us this works womderfully.
