Probably by the age of about 26, and pretty upset...but mostly resigned to it.

I felt like that when I was 18-27. 28, I enrolled back in school and I already see doors opening. I have a friendly alliance with two great LGBT organizations up in Boston and I've met with various state senators. In addition, I am learning Japanese and the JET program will be open to me in two years.

Never had a min wage job. I felt like I wasn't working in a field I wanted to or making the kind of money I wanted to between like 18 and 21. Then I got a job I loved making $13/h and two years later I started with the company I'm with now making $19/h.

I've never made minimum wage. I started laboring for a local stone Mason when I was 13 and he was paying me $10 an hour in the early 2000's. I've never made less than that. I've never taken an easy dick work job before either though.

I like the way people on CE often take "minimum wage job" literally. It can mean min wag, or close to. Maybe 30% above or less, you see?

34. The last job I worked was as a stockroom assistant, for about 7 an hour (about $12 an hour, or something).
