I've been playing it this year, I don't think I'd done any missions at all, now I've done 5 our of 11. Some of these missions are taking 5+ hours, which is obviously extremely long. I rarely spent more than 5 hours on any COD mission on Veteran. I must say, this is the cheapest and worst Halo campaign I've ever played...it doesn't really compare to 3 and 3: ODST, which had great campaigns. There are so many well-armoured enemies, and some enemies have really powerful weapons. Sometimes it's quite good fun, though, and some of the vehicle bits are a lot of fun.

What do other people think of Reach's campaign?

I just played through it on Legendary recently as well. Was not as difficult as I was expecting. It's tough, but I wouldn't say it's cheap. I do think it's very risky taking on Elites without a Plasma Pistol though. More so than in any other Halo game.

As for the quality of the campaign itself, I do agree that Halo 3 and ODST are better. Reach's is still better than the campaigns of the 343 games though.
