Is this like the more denim you have in your jeans, the better quality they are? I saw a bar of chocolate today, pretty expensive for chocolate, and it said that it had 70% cocoa in it, which I assume is more than normal. Does more cocoa make chocolate taste better?

It's a matter of preference. Personally I don't like high-cocoa content in my chocolate, but I'm just a pleb American so that's might influence. I think Europeans tend to prefer the higher cocoa content.

The higher the cocoa percentage, the "darker" the chocolate is considered to be. Dark chocolate is more bitter than milk chocolate (think Hershey bars), so the "darker" the chocolate, the more bitter it tastes. As far as tasting better, that's a matter of preference. I prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate, but I know people who prefer milk to dark.

Other way around.

Higher cocoa content makes it bitter and nasty but sounds good on paper so is popular among snobs.

One exception is that for some reason Milky Way Midnight bars are tiered much higher than regulr Milky Ways.

That's because you know in your heart that dark chocolate >> milk chocolate. I mean, our American milk chocolate is made with spoiled milk for fucks sake.
