What does this $160 pan do that $13 pan doesn't Realistically, how much better is that food gonna be. Also what kinda longevity are we talking here. I've had cookware for years that I didn't spend more than $20 dollars. Are we talking about lifetime use? --- "How come you can believe in God but not Bigfoot?" What does this $160 pan do that $13 pan doesn't The scanpan prob won't last a lifetime, since they are coated, but it's one of the best coated ones out there (can use metallic objects on it without too much danger etc) basically just don't sear meat with really hot pan (even that can work for awhile). But I think it should be at least 3 years. It has 10 year guarantee for fabrication errors. The stainless ones should have a very long lifetime. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

What does this $160 pan do that $13 pan doesn't I don't own anything. I cook with the things at the house. They usually buy cheap pans that work for like a half a year or something, I use the cast iron one for high heat cooking.
