I'm finding that the problem with having 20 classic games at my fingertips is that I don't spend much time with any one game. I die a couple times, I get bored, I switch games. It's kind of hard not to, but I feel like I need to just pick a game and see it through to the end.

I'm trying to limit how many games I start. Right now I'm playing super mario world, earthbound and donkey kong country but I'm gonna wait til I finish earthbound to start secret of mana, zelda, or ff6

Yah, thats what happened to me and those short ass wired controllers were very annoying in my set up so that put me off. But I got some like 10 foot extensions and plan on going game by game and not switching till Im done with it.

Yes, even on games that did not originally allow you to do so.

It is now entirely possible to beat Super Ghouls and Ghosts :D

Yep. Along with the normal saves in games, every time you reset the console it creates a save state. you have to confirm it before you turn the console off, but it's there. Also, you can rewind from a save state up until like a minute before it was made. So if you're in a boss battle and die, you can reset and rewind a few turns and try it again.

The SNES Classic is amazing. I'm going to play through most of the games before I start adding more to it. Apparently it's super fucking easy to do. I can't wait to add FF4, CT and the best version of FF6, which is the Brave New World mod.

2 must-have accessories for it are some controller extension cables and at least one Wii Classic controller. The Wii Classic controller has the Home button in the middle of it which acts as the emulator/reset button so you don't have to keep on getting up to save the game or anything. It's really, really nice. Make sure to get a Nintendo brand one, though, as I've heard that sometimes the knockoff brands don't work well with the SNES Classic

I have a Wii Classic Controller I got to play Wii Virtual Console games. How do you connect it to the Snes Classic? Do you need an adapter or is it connectable right from the start?

I am also interested. I've got the console in my man cave right now and it's no problem when I play by myself but my other couch is too far for the controller cord.

You know the cable that connects to the Wiimote? That's what you plug into the SNES Mini. So if you're gonna use that you'll probably need an extension cable.

The controller port on the SNES Classic is the same one as on the Wii remote.
