Along with the normal saves in games, every time you reset the console it creates a save state. you have to confirm it before you turn the console off, but it's there. Also, you can rewind from a save state up until like a minute before it was made. So if you're in a boss battle and die, you can reset and rewind a few turns and try it again. The SNES Classic is amazing. I'm going to play through most of the games before I start adding more to it. Apparently it's super fucking easy to do.
